Design and Features. The Caddy's exterior is characterized by a sharp, muscular look with dynamic lines, a bold grille, and sporty accents. Furthermore, the Caddy's suspension is designed to cope with heavy payloads, and the van can tow up to 1,500 kg.
Engine Performance and Efficiency - The Volkswagen Caddy is available with a range of efficient and powerful Euro 6-compliant diesel and petrol engines. The diesel lineup includes a 2.0-liter TDI with outputs ranging from 75 PS to 150 PS, while the petrol variants feature a 1.4-liter TSI and a 1.5-liter TSI with 102 PS and 130 PS, respectively. I bought a Volkswagen Caddy Minivan in the fall of 2019, when I bought a broken house outside the city, and started to convert it into a cozy haciënenda. We needed a van to transport building materials. And with the expectation of further use, that is, you need a volume car, but compact and comfortable. Caddy answers all these requests. The basic conceptline has all everything you need: steering height adjustment, air conditioning, seat heating and heated windscreen sprayers, electrically operated windows. Ergonomics is very good, just like a passenger car. Finishing materials are of high quality, they look solid. The plastic is hard but pleasant to touch. The finish is firmly down, neatly mounted. There are no kraakjes or rattles, everything is firmly stuck. The dashboard is in the same style as all Volkswagen cars, beautiful and informative. The stove works well, warm air starts to flow in 3 minutes, it takes about 10 minutes to warm up the entire cabin. Cool reacting steering wheel, excellent brakes and moves fairly quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the suspension, I expected more stiffness. Even on dead -end roads reasonably bearable. In terms of fuel consumption, Caddy continues to do well: 4.5 liters on the highway, 6.5 liters in the city.
